The Office of the Treasurer wants to make sure St. Louisans throughout the region are able to get out of debt and also are able to visit and support our wonderful, local businesses as the city safely and successfully re-opens. This initiative is a bonus to help St. Louisans in difficult economic times.
Parking And Towing Assistance Program (PTAP)
Program Purpose:
Program Details:
The payment plan is an agreement between the vehicle owner, the STLTO, and the PVB in which the participant agrees to pay the amount of the ticket(s) over time instead of paying the full amount all at once. Each participant must agree to make all payments on the ticket balance of outstanding parking fines and fees.
Entering into a payment plan allows a vehicle owner to make individualized, monthly payments while avoiding vehicle immobilization (booting), towing, and further late fees.
To enroll in a payment plan, call the Parking Violations Bureau at 314-627-2232. When calling, please make sure you have your license plate number ready.
Payment Plan Requirements:
- Accrued parking tickets in the City of St. Louis of at least $50.
- Agree to pay in monthly installments at agreed upon dates with the PVB.
Once enrolled, current tickets will be frozen so delinquent fees cannot continue to accrue.
Making Payments to ParkLouie:
Once a monthly payment is agreed upon with the PVB, payment must be received by the monthly date set forth in your agreement. Monthly payments can be made by online, in person or by mail.
Missed Payments:
Once a monthly payment is agreed upon with the PVB, payment must be received by the monthly date scheduled in your agreement. Monthly payments can be made by mail, in person, or online. If a payment is expected to be late, we recommend that you call the PVB to discuss your situation.
For the first payment that is missed or late, you will have until the end of that month for payment to be received by the PVB. If a second consecutive payment is late or missed, all delinquent fees will be unfrozen on the upcoming first Tuesday of the month and you will be dropped from the program. Once dropped from the program, you will NOT be eligible to re-enroll for at least 6 months. After two failed attempts at the program, you will no longer be eligible to enroll in PTAP
